The Ronstan 55mm Orbit auto-ratchet block is a great, cost effective option for most skiffs.
The 55mm Orbit can be used in automatic mode to help with smooth gybes or a manual mode to help with fine mainsheet adjustment. The 40mm Orbit has a high 20:1 holding power and suits ropes up to 10mm in diameter.
