40mm Pro-Ratchet

The Allen Pro-Ratchet 40 is a premium option for junior classes and smaller skiffs that offers great durability, grip, and control.  This block features an aluminium sheave for unbeatable holding power in 6mm sheets & lines.

The internal ratchet mechanism only allows the sheave to turn in one direction (not automatic)  and the swivel head can either be locked or spin freely depending on application. The Pro-Ratchet 40 has a leading  16:1 holding power and suits ropes up to 6mm in diameter.

• 13ft Skiffs
• 29ers
• Flying 11s

Note: Senior skiff classes should use a 50mm or larger ratchet block.
